Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines activities that are not permitted on SineBoot’s network and Services. It exists to keep the platform safe, reliable, and lawful for everyone.
Last updated:
1. Prohibited content & activity
- Illegal content or activity, including content that infringes intellectual property rights.
- Child sexual abuse material — reported to authorities without notice.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or operating open mail relays.
- Phishing, malware distribution, botnet command-and-control, or fraud.
- Unauthorised access, port scanning, or attacks against third parties.
2. Network abuse
You may not launch or participate in denial-of-service attacks, generate excessive traffic that degrades the network, or spoof IP addresses. Outbound abuse may result in immediate suspension.
3. Resource usage
Shared infrastructure must be used fairly. Sustained abuse of CPU, I/O, or bandwidth beyond your plan’s allowance may be rate-limited or suspended. Dedicated resources are yours to use within your plan.
4. Security responsibilities
Keep your software patched and credentials strong. Compromised servers used to attack others may be suspended until secured. We may notify you of detected vulnerabilities or abuse.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate Services, with or without notice depending on severity. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
6. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to [email protected] with relevant logs and timestamps.
